I’ll never forget the day I lost my job due to the pandemic. Suddenly, I found myself with an excess of time on my hands and a whole lot of uncertainty about the future. Like many others, I felt scared and unsure of what to do next. But instead of letting the anxiety consume me, I decided to channel that energy into a new creative pursuit – DIY furniture making.

As the youngest in a moderately large family, I had always struggled with a tendency to be dependent on others. But now, with the freedom of unemployment, I saw an opportunity to empower myself and achieve a level of independence I had never experienced before. So, I started a YouTube series called “All By Myself,” where I challenged myself to build DIY furniture from scratch.
